About Matt
He's Been Where
You Are Right Now.
Twenty-plus years of building, investing, and coaching — and the hard-earned lesson that drove all of it.
The Resume
Built a Lot.
Learned More.
On paper, it looks like success. And it is. But what the resume doesn't show is what it cost — and what it taught.

The Real Story
But Here's What the
Resume Doesn't Show.
For most of those twenty years, Matt was running on fear. Every deal, every business move, every investment — filtered through one question that was never far from the surface:
"Am I enough?"
He was building to prove he was smart. Credible. Worthy. He was performing instead of expressing. Working harder than he needed to, second-guessing decisions he already knew the answer to, and treating every setback like evidence that he wasn't cut out for this.
It's the same pattern he now sees in nearly every entrepreneur he works with. Not because they're weak or broken — but because nobody told them it was normal. Nobody normalized the hard parts. Nobody sat across the table and said: you're not alone in this, and it doesn't have to stay this way.
That's what drove him to coaching.
The Part He Gets
He Understands the
Resistance.
He's a Gen X-er. He hates paying for consultants. He likes figuring things out on his own. It's more fun that way.
But he's also learned that resistance is expensive. The months he spent trying to prove he could do it alone cost him six figures, his peace of mind, and years he'll never get back.
So when he works with clients who are just like him — smart, capable, DIY types who resist asking for help — he gets it. He respects it.
"Sometimes, no matter how good we are at something, we all need a supportive person who lives outside our bubble — to help us get back to our mission, our vision, our motivation."
To find clarity. To see the few things we couldn't see on our own. Not forever. Temporarily and confidentially — so we can quickly get on with the work that's been avoided. The work that will set us free.
The Framework
From Proving Mode
to Expressing Mode
The confidence gap is the expensive space between what you know you should do and what you actually do. Closing it isn't about motivation or mindset hacks. It's about understanding which mode you're operating from — and making the shift.
Proving Mode
- Fear-driven, never quite enough
- Building to earn your worth
- Every decision filtered through doubt
- Success feels exhausting
- Working harder than you need to
- Performing for an audience
Expressing Mode
- Clarity-driven, grounded in who you are
- Building because you have something to give
- Decisions made from values, not fear
- Success feels aligned
- Working smarter, with intention
- Showing up as yourself
Why He Does This
He Couldn't Stop
Watching It Happen.
He started coaching entrepreneurs because he couldn't stop watching them do it to themselves — beating themselves up for not having the answers, stressing over every wrong turn, treating every setback like evidence that they weren't cut out for this.
He decided the most honest thing he could do was show up and tell them the truth: the hard parts are normal. The doubt is normal. Getting it wrong sometimes is part of it. None of it has to be debilitating.
"My real mission is to help good people outgrow the constraints that have chronically held them back from the life they truly desire."
Business is constantly changing and evolving. Markets shift. Customer preferences can change in the blink of an eye. Everyone — yes, everyone — is still figuring it out. And every session they will learn something new: about their business, about themselves, about their markets. So they don't get left behind. That's the point.
What This Is
Let's Be Clear
About What He Is.
A Business Coach
Someone who's built real businesses, made real mistakes, and helps you see clearly what you can't see alone.
A Thought Partner
Someone who asks the questions that cut through the noise — and sits with you while you find your own answers.
An Entrepreneur
He's been in the room. He knows what it feels like from the inside, not just from sitting across the table.
A Therapist
This is business coaching, not therapy. The work is practical, focused, and tied to real outcomes.
A Motivational Speaker
No hype, no highlights, no shortcuts. Just honest work with people who are ready to do it.
An Operator
He won't run your business for you. He'll help you see it clearly enough to run it better yourself.
